Semi Perpetual Calendar for time Travellers

A tapestry to count the days in an unconventional way.
The project is born from some reflections on the concept of time and its cyclicality.
The semi-perpetual term arises from the fact that every 28 years the calendar repeats itself, and choosing the years surrounding 2025 starting from 900, we decided to represent a ribbon with a space-time door inside it that contains them all.
Some intrepid characters pass through it. Others float upwards, or descend towards the primordial broth, in movements not always predictable that lead to hybridizations of gender and species.
Of others we can recognize only the iconic remains: sunken ships, old video games, golden helmets now rusted by time.
To accompany them on this journey, swarms of pigeons: faithful allies and bitter enemies of the human being throughout geological eras.
The choice to draw a tapestry, as the previous suggestions, is inspired by Donna Haraway’s thought: weaving of as a practice of creating networks of support and solidarity, choosing threads and putting them together collectively creating new and unexpected alliances.
